A recent update to the game, Kaycee's Mod transforms the trip through the cabin into a repeatable roguelike of increasing difficulty. For players solely interested in the compelling horror story Inscryption presents, that might be more than enough.Д«ut for those who came out of Inscryption itching for more of the game's addictive, well-considered mechanics, there's a new option: Kaycee's Mod. Players can generally defeat Leshy (the boss at the end of the fourth biome) within a dozen or so runs. But Inscryption doesn't waste any time drawing itself out. The disturbingly dark card battler follows the player as they traverse through several biomes of a dark forest, filling their deck with different animals along the way. Inscryption is a bonafide hit for 2021, with two nominations at The Game Awards and quite favorable reviews from both critics and fans.
